In 2021, we watched diamond trading desks in the Antwerp Diamond District negotiate and execute high-value parcel sales entirely over WhatsApp. Crucial pricing agreements, stone certifications, and shipment releases were recorded exclusively inside informal chat threads. None of this data was centrally indexed, protected, or integrated with institutional databases.
When operators left a trading house, years of customer correspondence and transaction records disappeared with them. Compliance reviews required manually scrolling through physical mobile devices. It became obvious that while modern business operations had migrated entirely to chat protocols, enterprise tooling had completely neglected the medium.
We built CommunicationOS to establish an institutional system of record for chat. Today, our infrastructure powers unified protocol ingestion, permanent indexing, and automated data custody across nineteen networks for trading desks, telecom operators, and distributed teams.

Chief Executive Officer
Ben founded CommunicationOS after identifying critical operational data retention gaps on European commodity trading floors. He leads executive management and commercial expansion across international markets.
Adam Albastov
Chief Technology Officer and Software Architect
Adam designed the distributed protocol ingestion engine and permanent indexing architecture powering CommunicationOS. He oversees systems engineering, platform scalability, and the open-source developer ecosystem.
